As of now, delivery is not part of the service we can provide our customers. However, you are welcome to pick up your orders by booking any 3rd party courier of your choice (Grab, Lalamove, etc.) or even self-pickup is OK.
Our still growing business cannot offer international shipping for now. Maybe in the future this will be a possible option.
Our cakes need to be FROZEN to ensure that it maintains its quality and reaches the maximum shelf life.
To handle our cakes on long trips without FREEZING is a very big risk.
Customers who CHOOSE to take this risk should consider that this is already beyond our company’s responsibilities.
Currently, resellership is not yet available to the public. We will post on our social media accounts once this becomes available to all interested entrepreneurs.
We accept BPI, BDO, and GCash online transfers/deposits, and PAYPAL transactions.

Our cakes are stored FROZEN.
Once opened, consume within 3 days regardless of expiry date.
Our dark chocolate cake, and coffee chunks contain less than 0.5% (>0.005) alcohol. The alcohol is added to enhance the chocolate or coffee flavor - you won’t really taste it. Since 2015, many children, pregnant women and nursing moms have enjoyed our cake. But for any specific medical concerns, it’s always best to ask your doctor first.
We at Maricar’s do not believe in artificial sweeteners that are found in most “Diet” cakes. They often don’t taste as good as the real thing and many use extra chemicals to produce sweetness instead of sugar. We recommend health conscious customers to eat in moderation, or share the calories with a special someone.
Our dark chocolate cake and choco chunks are very moist. To achieve this rich taste, one of our ingredients is creamy butter. When chilled, the butter may harden and form white spots. Warm the cake to room temperature (26-28°C) or place a portion in the microwave for 5-9 seconds. Do not place the tin can/jar in the microwave.
Nuts are not included in our list of ingredients for our products. However, it is not under our control if our suppliers prepare certain raw materials using the same machine that may process nuts.
We do not write dedications on our cakes as of now. However, we can provide a simple card where your special message can be written.
Everyone has their own preferences. What may be too sweet for one, may be just right for another. However, we often get the following comments from our customers: “Hindi matamis”, “Sakto ang tamis”, “Hindi nakakaumay”, “Not too sweet”. Should you wish to try our cakes, we hope you can tell us what you think of the sweetness level.
